I've made my home in a bed of leaves dropped like tears from the sky. Far from judgment, far from harm, surrounded, I understand sacrifice.

I've made my home in a bed of glass to dance with the debris that lines the streets. A ceiling of stars and unused question marks holds my gaze with a grip so strong that I can scarcely breathe, let alone concentrate.

My nest is my anchor. This is my home.
